Changes

Changes include (courtesy Nookipedia):

New seasonal events, Turkey Day and Toy Day, as well as their hosts, Franklin and Jingle, respectively (note these events are currently locked and cannot be accessed via time travel).
Nine new Reactions—Sit Down, Wave Goodbye, Take a Picture, Sniff Sniff, Work Out, Yoga, Here You Go, Excited, and Ta-da.
Six new hairstyles.
An option to expand the player's storage from 1,600 to 2,400 items.
Support for Save Data Transfer, which allows island save data or a single player's save data to be transferred to another Nintendo Switch.
In December, four new seasonal items available from Nook Shopping—two in the Northern Hemisphere and two in the Southern Hemisphere.
New Year's-themed items will be added.
Players will be able to visit random dream islands.
The NookLink mobile app will allow players to view their catalog.
