May Day, International Museum Day, and the Wedding Season are enabled for 2021. The 2020 dates of these events are now unplayable.
- May Day features a different island layout and now last two extra days from April 29 to May 7.
- International Museum Day now features stamps rallies for the art exhibit.
- Wedding-themed clothing is available at the Able Sisters during the Wedding Season.
New Nook Shopping seasonal events:
- Children's Day is celebrated from April 28 to May 5 with a Carp Banner and a Newsprint Helmet.
- Cheese Rolling is celebrated from May 22 to May 31 with a Double Gloucester Cheese.
- Wedding Season is celebrated from June 1 to June 30.
- Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated from June 5 to June 14.
- Marine Day is celebrated from July 8 to July 22.
- Le 14 juillet is celebrated from July 10 to July 20.
Some Nook Shopping events return with new items and minor changes:
- Mother's Day now has a Carnations item
- Father's Day now has a Thank-You-Dad Apron
- The Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice Nook Shopping events now occur from June 15 to June 21.
- International Children's Day now last from June 1 to June 15.
- Tanabata now last from July 1 to July 7.
- Cowboy Festival now last from July 15 to August 15.
Dreams can now be exited with the - button.
