This is something I've been noticing a lot lately. Whenever someone is unhappy about something in a game they're playing, their first thought is to immediately say "Wow, the devs are so lazy and incompetent, they can't do anything right." or "Imagine if they didn't suck and just gave us this." This is incredibly disrespectful to everyone involved in the game's production.

I understand being disappointed in something. Heck, I was expecting something a but more than just a handful of items too. But it's not fair to the people doing the actual work.

There could be all sorts of reasons why they haven't added anything major lately. Not the least of which being the fact that we're in the middle of a pandemic right now. And Japan has been hit hard with it, even declaring another state of emergency recently. For all we know, some of the people we see in the game's credits have probably lost their lives to the pandemic by now.

We don't know what happens behind the doors at Nintendo's offices. It's not up to us to decide who's "lazy", and who isn't.

So I think we should give a bit more respect to the people who are working in the middle of a pandemic for really no motivation other than to just add more to the game.
